an old friend called |
i hadn't heard from her in more than 25 years. one of my few
friends from high school, though we weren't very close. turns
out that she called my parents and got my phone #. i'll call her
back tomorrow when things here, and i, aren't so crazy. i hope.
at least my meds should be somewhat sorted out in my head by
then. better than tonight, anyway.
i took all of my morning meds at 8:30 pm, just over an hour ago.
i might have had an extra dose of 1 med, but i don't think so. i
think i forgot this morning. at least i'm feeling a little more
stable now. still crashed bad, though. that's not going to
change in an hour.
all in all, should be an intersting call tomorrow. if i screw it
up completely, the worst thing is that i don't hear from her for
another 25+ years. i have to remember that.

not really. i've occasionally wondered about this person, but
didn't put any effort into finding her for all this time. should
the conversation go horribly, i just won't talk to her for
another 25 years. not much lost.

What I often tell myself now is,If I reach out to people,If I'm
friendly and polite,I'm doing my part...If it doesn't work out,it
doesn't work out,but at least I know I tried...

just called, got voicemail. at least now i know she's living
with a man, since there were 2 names given on the recording. i'd
always wondered if she was gay. i guess probably not.
