I think one area I can improve my anger is in traffic. It would be a
good start. It doesn't feel personal, yet I play the game with the
other game players out there. When I see someone driving impatiently,
and weaving around the flow of traffic, it pisses me off. Or someone
tailgating me - not if I was going slow in the passing lane, but
tailgating me in heavy traffic, as if I'm going slow on purpose. Or
tailgating me when I'm in the far right lane and there are 2 open lanes
on the left. And 20 yr old males in Mustangs or little Hondas with
spoilers in the back - guilty period.
So, yes, I'm being stupid. I play games a lot less frequently than I
used to, thanx to wombn. Now I think I need to truly do this, I mean,
100% of the time. I need to internalize the concept. I need to let it
go. Yes, people act like fucking morons on the road. Yup. I can't
change that, so I need to let it go.
Well, this is my pledge. If I sound pathetic, I'm sorry, yes, it is
pathetic. I'm trying to improve myself, this is a start.
There are people who are killed in this stupidity, and there are people
in jail for life for killing others in this stupidity. I saw one guy,
probably 55 yrs old, in jail for life, still unrepentant. Still
maintaining what he did was right. Never acknowledging that he could
have simply not played the game with the other driver, and not pulled
over, and not pulled his cross bow, and not shot the guy in the heart.
One more person alive, one more person not in jail. Nope, he still
maintains what he did was right. Idiot.
Traffic in Sacto is getting really really bad. It is very stressful,
and I drive a lot. I hate driving, but I have no choice with my line of
work.

yup, supposed to help some ppl with BP or cholesterol also,
if that's a motivation. Read an article about how stopping
interrupting in conversations is supposed to help with
cholesterol too. Which I don't do (honest)
I've been working at not-being-impatient while waiting

So. Stand up, stretch, take a deep breath or two,

Huh? Set your goals higher. Don't let yourself get angry when the fool is
affecting you. If you have to drive to survive, being angry at the wrong
moment works against you.
Most definitely.
Too easy, then. Just don't be a moron on the road. Make jokes of the
fools, instead.
Last week, I was stuck at a busy intersection because of a stupid accident
and right then some rubbernecker caused another one just the same which
completely blocked the intersection. Like a slapstick cartoon, but not
really funny, just sad.

I never get angry at other drivers anymore, no matter how ignorant they
seem to be.
I dont play games driving, it would just be too risky.

I hate driving, but I have no choice with my line of
work.
