appointment week |
Yesterday it was my therapy appointment, which went pretty well. Even my
therapist commented on how we're talking about a wider range of topics and
making a bit of progress now I'm taking more control of the sessions.
I've just got back from todays dentist appointment. The right side of my
mouth is numb because I got a filling in one tooth but the one directly
below it was the one that was bothering me more. There's nothing obviously
wrong with that one though, so it can wait until my next checkup.
Tomorrow I see my pdoc. I've spoken to him on the phone a couple of times
since my last appointment (2 months ago) so he's aware of how far downhill
I've gone since then. I've prepared a list of new meds I'd like to consider
if I can get him to agree to either a med change or adding a new med in
addition to what I'm taking, but because I'm on a RIMA (reversible MAOI)
there's not a lot that can be taken in combination so my options are
limited.
Hopefully between all these appointments I can feel like I've achieved
something useful this week.

Not here, it's nearly 11pm Wednesday as I write this post, and my
appointment is Thursday afternoon.
Thanks for wishing me luck though. I hope he has some ideas about how I can
get out of this slump I'm in.
