I've done me back in.
This not just a way to get out of going to the supermarket.

Ouch. Not good.

It took me till 4 o'clock to get any sleep last night, even with my
trazodone and painkillers. I went back to bed after I'd shuffled to get
the paper and checked asd. It was a bit better after that. Then it was a
bit better after my next nap. And my next. I still look like a little,
stooped old man walking around, but I can sit down without it hurting. I
suspect I'll get landed with the shopping tomorrow.

Will your store send someone out to load your groceries in your
car? I've had mine do that when I've had back trouble or was
particularly weak.

Some stores will; I've never had cause to try them at Sainsburys. I did
have fun with their wheelchairs when I had my toes lopped.

Geez Alan, sounds bad. Are you going to see a doctor next week if
it's not better? Have you had back problems before? And why do you
have to do the shopping when you're in pain? Just curious.

I'm probably seeing a masseur this afternoon, which will be novel.

Have you had back problems before?

I've had trouble before, but never on both sides at once before. It got
quite a bit better as the day wore on, and as I had another nap. It's
worse again this morning.

And why do you
have to do the shopping when you're in pain? Just curious.

My wife was in London, and was coming back with a friend, so I wanted to
get everything done before they arrived.

there's any number of popular physics books around, the good
thing about them is that they can take a long time to read.

I'm finishing off my collection of Photography Yearbooks. Only the last
ever three to go. It takes time to try to work out why a picture merits
inclusion, sometimes.

I wish I knew. I was sitting down, then I tried to stand up and fell
back again because of the pain. I got Wynne to do a lot, which was good,
as he didn't get any work last week, and it gives me an excuse to give
him some money.

I hope your back gets better quickly and you still don't have to go to
the supermarket.

My wife's getting a lift form London by a friend who's coming to stay,
so I think I'll be doing the shopping while she looks after said guest.
