Object: A.S.D. Posting Trends
For the third quarter ended September 30, 2006, this newsgroup's
posting frequency (ASDPF) continues to decline. To date, we are off
over 52% from our peak posting month of February when we hit 17,978
posts, with % contributing over 4,000 posts for the first time.
Don't panic, these seasonal trends are consistent and appropriately
budgeted during the annual meeting in Phoenix each January. As the
cold weather takes hold, we go post-fucking-crazy...I personally can't
wait.

I blame it on my Sims 2 addiction.

I drank an energy drink even though I knew it would keep me up and
anxious, but I've been groggy most of the day and wanted at least a few
hours awake.
I had an appointment with my therapist today, but she was busy with a
crisis so I didn't get to see her. Luckily, I have a really cool
therapist. She's coming into the unit on Saturday especially just to
have a session with me.

I like her a lot. It's too bad that when I finish all my court stuff I
won't be able to have her as a therapist anymore.

I can't ever sleep that late since I started taking Geodon. I get up
between 6 and 8. I went from 18 hours sleep on Seroquel to 18-20 hours
awake on Geodon.

when i'm this depressed, i never want to wake up. i just keep
going back to sleep. that's why i missed my pdoc appt yesterday
morning. i must have turned off the alarm and fallen back asleep
without thinking about it. i wake up around 6:30, but never get
up that early.

No, but I have a "shared therapist" that does dbt. I've only seen her
once though outside of group.

interesting. in the dbt model, the students have individual
therapists who have had dbt training. while the student only
sees one therapist, these therapists act as a team to support
their clients by discussing treatment strategies in regular
meetings.
i had to leave dbt because i was leaving my dbt therapist, and
there was none other available. since seeing me, my current
therapist wants to incorporate some dbt skills into his
practice, but he's not formally trained as a dbt therapist.

When I'm out of the Forensic Unit that's what they're going to do, but
how it is right now, I'm stuck there until I pay off my court fines and
the judge releases me from good-terms probation.

That's how my regular therapist is. She's trying to incorporate dbt
skills into our sessions, but it's new material for both of us.

if she's interested in dbt, she ought to get a book called
"skills training manual for borderline personality disorder"
by marsha linehan. that's the book that has all the handouts,
as well as all the material the group leader needs to know. i
had a copy for myself and my current therapist now has his
own.

I'll tell her that. I know she's talked about Linehan before. Maybe I'll
pick up a copy of it myself as well.
