Bacon and eggs and sadness. |
My daughter and I had bacon and eggs for breakfast.
P-doc and I have been tweaking my meds. I hope to work my way out of this
deep sadness that has fallen over me.
I know I can never "get over" the death of my father, but I need to find a
way to live with the grief with out it ruling over my life.

This is probably not the best weekend to
measure your progress in working your
way out of the deep sadness. Feeling the
loss during the first holiday season
without him may be as deep as the canyon
of grief gets. And, it won't help to
think that there are families out there
having a 'Hallmark moment'. It might
help to remember that most families
aren't. All the losses pile up around
this time, imo. Just keep looking into
the eyes of your child and I hope you
find some comfort there. Take care.
