Be careful of dollar coins! |
Be careful of dollar coins...the bus driver wouldn't believe I put
them in the slot today...he thought it was only quarters..I paid about
$3.75,and would have had to pay more if a passenger on the bus didn't
pay another $1.25 for me...

thanks for the warning. OTOH I am always careful to give exact
amounts for the Metrocard lest the token clerks give me the
dollar coins.

You need what we have. Ours display the value of the coins on an LED screen
and adds them as you drop them in. The driver cannot dispute what the
machine says.
