i take a med strickly for the side effect and that's the whole idea

i'm not sure but ( proprananol ) is a beta blocker its for heart patients ,
but one of its side effects is it stops people with the shakes from shaking
,
hunters , archers , tend to use it to steady their aim ,
and actors have been known to use it because it helps the prevention of
stage fright ,
some rightious side effects don't you think ?

Oh, yeah, that drug. You can make it at home. haha
That stopping of shaking is the primary effect, it's part of beta blocking,

What stops the shaking and all is what is on the Clinical Pharmacology page,
those are the primary effects. The side effects are listed on a different
page, none of them are things that just stop someone from shaking. The only
on-label prescriptions for it are the heart indications, giving it to
people like us or athletes and performers is off-label prescribing.

Trazodone, an antidepressant, seems to be most often prescribed to help
people sleep.

Yeah, but he probably believes that. Probably a whole bunch of people
reading here believe that. More of us would believe that than would in the
same amount of normal, healthy adults. That's why assertiveness and anger
management training gets offered to people with the kinds of disorders we
have. So we can differentiate between our selves and our feelings and
between symbols and real things or states of things. Also, people who try
to use words to hurt a person like to believe that words can hurt a person.
Anger management training addresses that directly.
Like, he will stop, everything stops. How did Nom de Plume put it? F(X)=0.
He must be able to let go of some things. Like the trash on garbage day,
there's one. He probably isn't psychotic, like he doesn't post describing
any psychotic delusions like people on some other newsgroups do. Sometimes
he may exagerrate things, but that's a different issue, just word choice.
And who knows if he actually starts the flames? Maybe every time he thinks
someone has always previously flamed him before he flames anyone. Maybe
someone does. I don't know. How could any of us tell?
A lot of insults can be taken apart like that. not all, but a lot. There are
different means for dealing with other kinds of insults.
