And when I say big, I mean almost man-sized (and artificial, of
course). I was today playing scientists at an accelerator centre,
where they have some tandem accelerators and a cyclotron (those
are equipment used for nuclear physics experiments, non-destructive
analysis and datation of samples, et cetera). The equipment we were
using was inside a sort of bunker, a large round room with a
dome-shaped, pretty tall ceiling. Well, right there, high above our
heads, was a really large, black, menacing (and obviously fake) looking
spider on its web. And I saw it only because I was called on it - I bet
it's startled more than one unsuspecting researcher.
These scientist guys have a weird sense of humour...

wait until they get an animated one with its own little
camera etc. you won't miss that one.
