Time to put out the rubbish bin, and the recycling bin, and finish my
lager, and take my meds and crawl into bed.

I didn't get to bed till 2:00, but didn't feel the need to, which is
most unusual. I felt fine when I got up at nine, so today looks hopeful.

I hope tomorrow's a better day for you, Alan.

Yesterday wasn't so bad, looking back at it. Tired and low, but not as
bad as recently. We had an old school friend of my wife's around - I've
known her from college days - which was fun, or as close to fun as I get
these days. She's reading my novel and making very enthusiastic noises.
I'm copying CDs for her, which helps to fill in the time and is a lot
better than staring at a blank screen.
Wynne's back home for the night, and, perhaps, day, which is also good.
Thing's look hopeful.

Well, it does sound a little brighter
for you but this has seemed like a long
and low rough patch for you -- from my
side of the screen. I sure hope the
nadir is behind you.

Bin/recycle night was last night. Cans/jars/bottles this week, paper
and cardboard next week. Stuffed if I can remember which bin on
which week - just look across the street.

Don't forget to put in a fresh bin liner. One of those things I had to
think about for a second when I first read a Dirk Gently novel. Bin liners?
Oh, garbage bags...

Oh, garbage bags...

Just use plastic supermarket shopping bags for the kitchen bin,
tie em up then throw in garbage collection bin.
I'd be ***** if the "save the environment" folk banned
them altogether, and I had to actually _buy_ some garbage
bag product.
Biodegradable plasic shopping bags are good!
