bird names? |
i'm really looking forward to getting a little bird to keep as my friend.
now i'm thinking about what to call my budgie when i get him/her.
if i don't know the gender, maybe i'll call the bird "budgie". i know it's
not very imaginative.
if it's a male, perhaps i'll call him "wotan" or "siegfried". if it's a
female, maybe "fricka" or "brünnhilde".
any suggestions?

I think 'Loki' would be more suitable for a budgie.

Guess what I found out (I think). A rough equivalent of Loki in the
American Indian pantheon (common among many tribes) would be the Old
Coyote, the trickster. Right, oc?

I would think any bird of Martie's could only be called Valkyrie.

When I got my budgie I named him Peanut. Figured that would work with
either one since he was still to young to tell the sex.
