Birthday |
My wife wants to know what I want for my birthday, and I have no idea
(that she's willing to spend our money on).
Any suggestions?

The opinions given above may be mine. They might also
just be what I feel like saying right now, okay?

Books, gadgets? Going out for a meal together? Tickets to the theatre? A
massage?

I may not like what's on at the theatre; it takes a lot to lure me out.
I don't fancy a massage, and going out for a meal isn't a present, it's
a certainty. Gadgets are just not me.
I could ask for a day racing Ferraris, but getting her to add to the
several thousand books we have (I'm trying to get around to making
another bookcase) is more likely. Maybe if I told her I wanted a
sensibly sized book on the Italian legal system, in English, it would
charge her with energy for the search.
