Object: Bit of Good News
We had Chinese food tonight and my fortune cookie said that there would
be some immeidate financial relief almost as if magical. A couple of
moments ago, Maria's grandfather called and is giving us 10,000 dollars
toward grad school. With what I can save, that, and the fellowship we
should make it next year. That is a relief.
I have been real worried about taking care of Maria properly. You
know, a roof over her head.
Still battling depression, but sitting here reading Oresteia. Anyone
read it?? Have some questions.
Wow . . . that is a relief.

I'm so glad to hear this. I can almost feel your relief from here. Now,
only thing left to do is convince Maria's grandfather to adopt me. <g>

No -- no pay for publishing in journals, just two moments of glory with
about five people whoever read darn things. No pay for research, just
teaching.
But someday I will be rich and I will fly and meet you and the woman
you live with and take you to dinner.

Wahoo! Good news on the windfall. Wish I could help you with Oresteia
but I have to plead total ignorance on this subject.

Amazing. I am so glad to hear that. Not that I think certain other
part{ies,y} shouldn't take a role also.

Not in Greek and not in a long LONG while.
P.S. your posts aren't showing up here, only the follow-ups.
