i saw my pdoc this afternoon. he's concerned that i'm doing
worse than when i saw him last. he agreed with me that all we
should do at this point is to wait and see if the remeron
increase helps. last weekend i spent huge amounts of time in bed
with my glasses off (i'm extremely nearsighted), staring into
space. he said that if i don't improve soon, not to wait the two
weeks until my next appt, that i should call him. he also said
that i should keep partial hospitalization in mind. when i'm
having trouble functioning and hibernate in my house, the
structured day at partial seems to help.
i wonder how long i should wait to feel better, if another two
weeks is too long.

have you ever tried lexapro? i know it's just a pitiful little ssri, but i
never dreamed it would work so well for me. after all these years of
different meds and ect....one simple little drug is doing the trick like
none other ever has.
just a hopeful tho't...

no i haven't. the docs said that, based on how i'd responded
to other meds, it wouldn't help. this cocktail is supposed to
be coming close to parnate's effect. i just need to find the
right levels of the three antidepressants.

I am sorry you are having it too tough, Lisa. If your doctor thinks in a
couple of weeks you should be better, maybe it's true. Let's hope your
ailments disappear much before, but that prognosis doesn't seem to be too
bad. I wish I could do something more substantial for you apart from
offering you my symphaty.

actually, my doc's already talking about raising the remeron
some more, but we should give it a chance at this dose first.
i've been on up to 75 mg of remeron in the past, and just went
up to 45 mg last week.
thanks teil. i appreciate the kind words.
