I think they can be very therapeutic. If you need an idea of where to start
or ideas to overcome writer's block the
Creativity Portal is a fantastic website for this sort of thing. I have
found it to be an invaluable source for ideas and information.

you can sign up for a free account with livejournal.com or you can not
only create a blog, but also a webspace at myspace.com
there are many other places as well that you can do a blog at.
