Object: Bloody Bureaucrats
I have been chasing them all week to get my new equipment ordered and
delivered. They have only had four months to okay the order that has
been okayed about three times already. Finally spat the dummy today
and told them they front up with the equipment or I can't run the Year
3 course. They would lose over $100,000 in fees for a Cap. Ex. cost of
$13,000. That got their attention and suddenly the head of purchasing
is calling me.
Its not like I don't have better things to be doing like preparing a
three year course. But when push comes to shove, I prefer to shove.
Hope you are all playing nicely together. I am going to drink some
whiskey now. I might be back later to watch the screen swim around...
or I might not.

I love that Rossanne Barr line. "Sure, I know the way to a man's
heart... it's through his chest!".
