Blue Law ranting |
I've ranted about this before, but I feel irritated even more so today. It's
Halloween and I'm out of booze. Now I can't even get my drink on while I
wait for the (brave, it's snowing as it does *every* 10/31) little tots to
come out for their candy.

Nope, only booze available on sunday is 3.2 and that's in grocery stores -
and that's all they're allowed to sell.
Car dealerships aren't open either, but nobody cares if you go wandering
through the lot.
At least we don't have to do the whole state-owned liquor store thing.
I'd have to drive to a neighboring state, and we just got a winter storm
warning. No booze is worth that much driving either.

Joy of living in IL we can buy liqour on Sundays.......All the IN ppl
just come over to our state because we're a borderline city
