I got it with my new cell phone. So I am supposed to put this thing
on my ear, and it is supposed to be connected to my phone.
I can't get it to work.
Gotta go back and see Lucy at cingular.
Then I get to pick up my new glasses from Tara at the optic store.
I got it rough.

jabra blue tooth/samsung phone. they are supposedly 'on'. I finally
read the instructions. a tap is different than a press and different
than a press and hold.
I'll get it. as soon as someone calls. Look pretty stupid with the
earmuff waiting.

I've got a Moto phone and headset. I have to go into the phone settings,
to the Bluetooth section and tell it that it should be awaiting a device
wanting to connect to it. Then I have to hold the button on the headset
down until the light is lit continuously. At that point the phone asks
me for the PIN for the device - usually all the Moto headsets are 0000
or something simple like that.
Pairing with a computer (if you have Bluetooth on your machine) is
similar, but they generate a random key that your computer tells you to
punch into the phone.
I've become a big fan of my Bluetooth headset. I tap the little button
and use the voice recognition to call people in my playlist or just say
the digits I want to dial. It's also about 30 meters range, so I just
keep the headset on my desk and the phone...wherever...and can use a
tiny lightweight headset for my phone needs.

My carpenter had the thing in his ear all day. I thought he had a
brain problem, ear problem...and when I saw him talking to himself, I
thought he had a real problem. But the cool thing is....my new cell
phone has a camera.
so I got, like, that going for me.

I couldn't imagine wearing it all day, that's just ridiculous if you're
just going to use it for phone stuff. My phone also supports mp3s
however, so perhaps he was listening to music. They make nice (and
expensive) headphones, that I'd love to have. I'd never use the
telephone earpiece for music though it sounds horrible (worse than
through the speakerphone). You'll have to make sure your phone supports
A2DP Bluetooth to use it for music. My Razr V3i didn't, but my Razr V3xx
does.
I've also got it paired with my computer. It's really handy to download
pictures from the lousy camera, or uploading ringtones/wallpapers. I can
also use it as a remote control to do things like move the cursor
around, open programs. Only real use I can imagine using that feature
for is PowerPoint-esque things.

I want a pair of those bluetooth headphones too, but a lot of devices
only support mono playback (namely Palm devices).

I want 'em, but the problem is the only thing I could connect them to is
my cell phone and it's not the best interface. I want something like my
ipod nano to support bluetooth. I'm just fine with a single earpiece for
phone calls. Besides - a phone sounds weird in stereo.

You could use your PC. All the headphones do is emulate a soundcard.

I like it better. You get used to it in a call center.
