Object: Born Depressed?
I've often wondered at which point do we become officialy depressed?
Is it a slow accumilation of bad life experiences that one day mount
up so high we finally no longer bother to fight the feelings off with
more positive ones or is one big kick in the stomach more than enough
to become the catalyst???
I guess its different for everyone.

Carlos Castenada believed it was all down to internal dialogue, on a
good day I can agree with that.

Nope, I was fine as when young. Wasn't until my thirties when
I became something like DSM-IV-TV.
My belief is it is life experience. It's a little different than
that. If you don't have a personality that fits in, it wears away
at you over life. This results in a severe mid life crisis.
Yeah it prolly is different for everyone.
I'd be happy to just go to sleep and never wake up
again. I don't have any bank loans, I own property, I
don't know what is wrong with me, however my preffered
method of living is sleep, watch TV, or chat on the internet.
