My wife bought tickets for tomorrow night, to see someone I've not even
heard of. One of the tickets is mine.

Alan...ever see The Who or The Beatles or Tull, in a small setting
before they were stars? My favorite British bands were Ten Years
After, Jeff Beck Group w/ Rod Stewart... just wondering.

The Beatles were on in Frodsham (where I lived as a teenager) after
their first single, but before they were more than locally famous. I saw
them arrive, but didn't bother seeing them, as I was making progress
with a girl who wasn't going in. I was very naive; I should have
realised it would have been a much better story if I'd gone in. :)

Love. When I was younger, it stuck to my face./ I think I'd still
swoon if a real Beatle crossed my path. Me and my brother went up to
the bathroom and combed our hair forward and started talking in English
accents one Sunday night in February, 1964. We'd just seen The Beatles
for the first time on Ed Sullivan. I heard George say that the crime
rate dropped to zero when they played that night. Kennedy had died 4
months earlier, and we needed them.

My bro in law usually buys us tickets 4 our bday to a local sporting
event. His bday is the same wk as mine. I beat him to the punch this
year and bought tickets to the Dec. 9th Red Wings vs. Toronto game. 7th
row behind the bench. They cost me a pretty penny. Probabaly my whole
Sundays pay. My hubby won't mind me going but I'm going to have to try
and intercept the bill when it comes.

My bro in law gives me tickets all the time. He took me to one of the
Tiger playoff games. This was the least I could do. Plus he's the daddy
of my Godson. ;)

He really is a great person. Awesome dad 2. I haven't been up to
getting out much lately, and by him giving me MLB playoff ticket, and
game 6 of the WS., (even though the WS only went 5 games), has helped
me to look forward to things I enjoy again. I am now looking forward to
my birthday spending it w/him @ the game!
I hope we get hit w/a puck!
