Oh yes, much better this morning thanks. Mostly stress related
methinks. I got the Tax Department on my tail and they have
reassessed me for 2003/2004. I've now got to come up with $5,000
which I don't have. Still, they were very nice about it.

Can you make installments until it's paid off?

We are negotiating that right now. They charge interest on
overdue balances and I'm trying to get that waived. They have
kindly shifted some allowances back to get rid of most of the
existing interest owed but it couldn't happen at a worse time. It
was my own stupid fault and happened when I was gambling. I tried
to get away with something but I got audited and that is that. It
would be much worse if I hadn't stopped gambling and started
doing my accounts properly. They are being incredibly nice about
it all and that is another blessing. They could have thrown the
book at me.
In the end it is just another problem in the sea of problems
running a business involves. For me, that is the best attitude to
take.

Absolutely your attitude is wonderful about it and I'm glad to see that. No
self loathing, good man! I'm sure they'll work out an installment as they'd
rather you pay it off eventually rather then not at all. I mean "you can't
suck blood out of turnip" (American expression) or how about "money don't
grow on trees" little nicer. It'll work out Glenn, I'm sure of it.
