Object: Brianversion's life sounds nice to me.
A nice home, a babbling brook, the whole nine. Gourmet cooking, poetry,
and drinks with good friends, sounds really great too. Throw in some
fine literature, a warm fire on chilly nights and you've got yourself a
little slice of heaven. I'm not a gay man, and I'd be turned off by the
anal sex, but I could trade regular oral sex for that kind of life. I
went through a gay phase in college and discovered my likes and
dislikes. Yes to oral sex. No to anal. No to kissing. I would want
some sexual contact with a woman every so often, that would have to be
part of the deal. I have too much a sense of awe and wonder for a
beautiful vagina to give it up completely. The economics of life tell
us that everything has a cost. What would I trade for a life like
Brianversion's? That life sounds pretty sweet. A rich, full life, as
they say. I could give regular oral sex for that.

Watching comedy central the other night "imagine marrying another dude, it'd
be great. imagine saying words and having them interpreted exactly as you
meant. no more 'do you remember what you said on the way to my mother's
house 10 years ago?' NO! 'neither do I, I'm a dude'"
And I think Brian was saying that's the rich cultural and culinary life he
used to have. Now he is the caretaker for one of the elderly gentlemen. A
demanding task, but it sounds like you got a FREE FUCKING HOUSE out of the
deal. Most people would give both testicles for the opportunity to sponge
bathe an old guy for 10 years rather than slave away at a job paying a
mortgage for 30 years.

That's the rub(so to speak). It all balances out. I'm 'stuck' in the
woods, but I have nice vehicles, so I'm not really stuck. And he's
healthier than a lot of other 85 year olds. Guess cause he 'married' a
dude in the '40s, and they never argued about 'what one said on the way
to grammas 10 years ago'. "Hey, wait a minute...we're dudes. Lets get
hammered."

yeah, I hear the same stories over and over, he has like 37 stories,
and I've heard them all many times. His memory is bad, so he gets just
as much enjoyment as ever each time he tells them to me. I put the
medication in the weekly tray, round up the cats, cook the food...It
only feels like I'm stuck when I let it.

Yea, but you can only be stuck if you stick yourself.

Everything costs something... like self respect. Then your pursuer
gets old and you kind of hate the old days, but he's a person. So I'll
trade you. But i don't need your regular oral. Although you are a
person.

Why do you say that? Being open about
yourself is the only way for others to
know the you that is you. imo.
