Britney, Beached Beluga |
Don't get me wrong, if she was someones wife doing that thang for her
husband in private, with a babysitter for the kids, I'd say, "Wow."
But since she wants to be a star again, she may have laid off the
twinkies for a few weeks, a high colonic woulda helped, and the fall
of the Roman Empire dance she waddled through while our real human
youngsters are at war overseas, for no good reason, ...well, she might
have rehearsed a few days at least before she lip synched, poorly,
"Gimme, Gimme, Gimme...."
What a ho. I got your 'gimme' right here.

I just looked at her photos on the web, how in the world are people
saying she's fat? Or a beluga? Gimme a break, she looks like a woman.
I don't know about you, but I prefer women to look like...women?
This is a beluga?

Consider the source Thor. In the world of music, fashion, and hollywood,
and their impossibly high standards, she's an out of shape beluga. I think
she looks amazingly beautiful and her body is fantastic. And I give her
Mega credit for doing the show knowing the critics would probably come down
hard on her.

You're not alone. A lot of people say that about her. I dunno. I just
don't feel comfortable judging people. Between them and their whoever
above, ya know. I also think growing up the way the she has in that
environment probably had a negative influence on her. It's the only life
she's ever known and that must have screwed with her head. And hell, she's
still young and has some growing up to do. Despite the fame and the money
and the glory it can't be easy growing up in the public eye, under all that
pressure, having your every move scrutinized. I feel for her. Especially
now given she's in the middle of some freaky nervous breakdown. As for her
being icon, if I were going to blame anyone I would blame the parents who
let their children worship these people without also providing a healthy
balance. And in Brit's defence (listen to me like I know her personally or
something) I will also say she had done a lot of charitable works and
donated a lot of money to charitable causes. Including a summer camp for
underprivileged girls where they can grow and learn and be counselled and
build their self esteem. She's not all bad.

Then why didn't you just say THAT? Why call her fat? Call me weird,
but if you call her fat, I'm going to think you're commenting about her
weight, not her values.
You went from calling her a beluga to now saying she looks great? Do

In the society of cocaine liars she lives in, her fatness brings her
down. Paris certainly pshawws her 'friend' Brit. She took her to a
club after the babies were put in their closets for the evening.
I did not say she was fat. I called her a beached Beluga, which
implies she is a faded 25 year old non-person in the world of the red
carpet. Fat fat fat.....yes,, I like a little meat with my salad
too. I am judging her in the court she has chosen, the world of
anorexia and gyms. I'll take any cheap shot, any non thought out
argument, any (you are correct, and I am losing badly here) comment I
can to display my distain of this woman who is similar to the *****
who asked for John the Baptists head.
She chose the venue, the values. She ain't making it.
Now if she had any redeeming value for our kids, I'd say, "You go
girl."
I ain't gonna like her any more than I hate her now, even when she
loses all the non-star weight she needs to.
Oh, and her mother sucks too. And Linday Lohan's mother is a ho.

Exactly, as should be obvious to anyone with the moral development of a
10 year old.
The reasoning above reminds me of my old uncle Fred who used to freely
use terms like "*****" and "spic"... but only if the ethnics in
question has "earned" these racist epithets by offending in some way.
"There are good blacks and good Puerto Ricans," he'd explain oh so
tolerantly, "but these guys I'm talking about are the NIGGERS and the
SPICS!" and then he'd give his reasons, which had to do with various
criminal and social offenses unrelated to skin color or national origin.
If Britney were black, would she be a Fat ***** *****, or would that
require additional fucked values?

Maybe if she was from China, maybe she'd be called a Fat Chink Chunky
Beluga. GAH! I hate it, I hate prejudice! What a person looks like
says NOTHING about their intergrity, ethics, morals, values, whether
they're kind and giving, whether they're caring and friendly. Weight,
either underweight, overweight, or close to just right, it just has no
bearing on the character of a person. Period. And I'm so pissed,

Well, I don't have the power to go up against her in any other arena
than the one she has chosen for herself. If she came out in human
woman clothes, without the demonic, "Gimme" crap song, without the
pornographic implications of her 'dancing', with one ounce of worth,
then she would not be chosen as my 'I hate her' person of the day.
She choses to try to be a stripper, she has chosen to sing absolutely
no good music, she has chosen to wear a black bikini in front of the
children of my country. She has chosen to be judged like a piece of
meat, and I have chosen to sound a lot like my old man in judging her.
IF she was a real human, if she was a good mother, wife, American,
with any bit of redeeming value, I would not have chopped her. Oh, I
know there are 'men' out there who drooled. I know that the 'hardbody'
crap leads our children to skip dinner and feather their throats so
they can achieve the illusion that Britney can no longer present.
So she sucks, because she has chosen to do nothing good for western
civilization except selfishly try to destroy it, along with her
friends.

Sighs. This just pisses me off...."waddled"? Omg....penguins
waddle! Britney is abosolutely gorgeous, despite how poor her
performance was, which I didn't see nor care to see. She doesn't have
hardly any fat anywhere that I can see, and give me a break! The
woman has had 2 children and not *everyone* bounces back to their
former rippled abs and 'taut' body.
And of all the people who can understand what depression and what
mental/emotional problems can do to a persons physical appearance, I
for one am *not* going to judge this woman by her looks. It is
probably very difficult to try to pick her career back up and to get
herself to some Hollywood anorexic look with everything she's been
through, even if a lot of it could be her fault. I think I prefer to
give her a break that she's not Kate Moss waif thin and sickly
looking. She is *not* fat at all, and a "baluga?!" FFS! NO HUMAN,
no matter how large, should *ever* be compared to a whale! That is
just mean and cruel and uncalled for. Isn't there enough prejudice
and oppression in this world without targetting those who are
overweight with such ridiculing hateful name calling?
And then to be called a ho in the same post as calling her a waddling
whale...now I don't know if the ho reference is because of her weight
or the clothes she wore or something else. But if it's because of her
weight and the clothes she was wearing, I personally don't think that
is fair. I am a fairly conservative dresser and while I would say
that her clothes were too skimpy and I don't approve, I wouldn't call
her a ho.
I don't know why you feel so strongly about a 'starlets hard body' but
I just think that's one of the least important things to consider when
it comes to talent.
I just looked at her photos on the web, how in the world are people
saying she's fat? Or a beluga? Gimme a break, she looks like a woman.
I don't know about you, but I prefer women to look like...women?
This is a beluga?

But since she wants to be a star again, she may have laid off the
twinkies for a few weeks, a high colonic woulda helped, and the fall
of the Roman Empire dance she waddled through while our real human
youngsters are at war overseas, for no good reason, ...well, she might
have rehearsed a few days at least before she lip synched, poorly,
"Gimme, Gimme, Gimme...."
What a ho. I got your 'gimme' right here.
Frett
Okay. Let's see...how to be as diplomatic as possible. I don't know that
Frett's commentary is as much a statement on weight as it is a commentary on
values and he simply chose to go for the cheap shot because it's easier, but
what I *do* know is that in a newsgroup full of people with body image and
weight issues it was really insensitive and I hope he will consider that
fact. As for people, fat, skinny, short, tall, whatever, everyone is
beautiful and sexy in their own unique way and it is completely and grossly
unfair to judge a whole human being on the parts they are made up of.

This kinda sucks, because I wanted to post something which happened to

danced privately for someone she loved in that outfit, would
definitely get a salute.)
I have a thing for black lingerie. Really, I do.
Yes, I didn't think before I posted. You are ALL beautiful ladies.

I can see how it looked like you were being ganged up on. I think Rhi
hit the nail on the head though, there are people here to whom this is a
pretty darn sensitive issue to. I don't have any problem with you
slamming her behavior. I wish you would have focused on THAT, because
that seems to be your main point. It just gets my panties really
bunched up when I see someone praised for being beautiful in way that
seems to impart positive moral traits on them simply for having a
symmetrical face and youthful, clear skin; or likewise when someone is
slammed for their looks, as if that were a further wrong they have
"committed" in addition to whatever actual character flaws they have.

It is sad, there is a lot of descrimination against people due to
their weight, and theire general appearence...
I had a friend in high school who some people avoided, partly because
of her appearence... there was a woman
I rode with on the train from Florida up north years later... I had
to leave and find another seat, so I would be more comfortable... I
was kind
of sad about it, because we got along fine... I just hope her
feelings weren't hurt...

Okay, I apologize for indicating that fatness was a redeeming make or

I hate Britney Spears.
I coulda just said that, and been in less 'dutch' than I am.
I would, however, like somebody to try to , briefly, explain to me the
value of Britney Spears, how she has helped their children grow up.
Okay, you are mostly correct, the beached beluga was a cheap shot.

You aren't a dumbass Thor. Sorry. No, I'm not sorry that you are not
a dumbass, I am sorry for the ...ya know....Brian wrath shots.
I have a sister who is very large. So I am not in the right here,
with my Britney Fat starlet crap.
I just dislike her intensely. And I enjoyed seeing her get bad
reviews.
Yup.
