Ugh.
He's been acting funny lately. I don't think it's just cause wombn is
gone. I'm sure his displaysia (sp?) is getting bad, he has trouble
getting up. I've got to get him on some Deramaxx.
I THINK he's been drinking more water lately. Seems like it.
He's been scarfing grass when we go on walks, a lot more than usual.
Tonight, he came into the bedroom, I was just getting settled. He came
to my side of the bed, sat, and looked at me. Odd behavior for him. I
starting petting his head, and felt scabs. He's got some big lessions.
I thought it might be a tick at first, that's what it felt like
through the fur.
Wah.

may it's a combination of hurting from the dysplasia and
seeing how stressed and busy you are now. dogs are pretty
sensitive to moods.
i have a cat who scratches anytime i'm not there. as far as
he's concerned, i'm never supposed to leave his side, and he
gets upset when i'm not around for him. he almost never
scratches in my presence, but now has bare patches on his neck
from my being busy. the vet thinks it's an allergy, but i'm
certain it's behavioral.
best to get the vet to check it out, just in case.
i hope that things calm down for you soon, thor. you have a
lot on your plate right now.

Take care Thor. Dogs are fairly smart and very sensitive. There
may be some sympathetic stuff going on. Sounds like you have the
world on your shoulders. I'm sure you will do your best.
Best of luck.

When it rains, it pours. I hope you are holding up well.

He was better tonight! Poor guy was home alone all day, I took him for
a long walk. He did good. I still need to bring him in to the vet, I
want them to check him out.
