Object: Bugger it!
I just reached down to pick Nelly, and managed to knock over a full mug
of latte. With a pint of milky coffee soaked into the carpet I'm not
going into that half of the room for a while.
The stupid cat's on my desk, in my crooked arm, purring away in
atonement.

The opinions given above may be mine. They might also
just be what I feel like saying right now, okay?

Just like Dr. Schweitzer's pet kitty.

It's difficult to remember how guilty they are, somehow.

LOL!, you just reminded me of the Toyota Hilux add
filmed in NZ, for the earlier model.

This is the NZ version of the ad, which was shown in both Australia and
NZ. Very funny, I love the dog :)

That WAS funny. And I can so see how it applies to Alan's situation.
I wonder if the FCC in the US would allow it to air, is "bugger" one of the
seven words you can't say on television?

It's never said on U.S. radio or television because it's not a U.S.
expression. You'd never hear a Merkin say "bugger" or "sod"...or
"bloke", for that matter.

Hmmmmm. So I guess if someone wants to yank the FCC's chain, all they have to do
is say "Bugger!" anywhere they would otherwise have said "*****!"

I guess 'you n***** c***, a** f*****!' wouldn't go down too well, then.
I wonder if OFFCOM has a list of naughties, too. Bugger's so
innocuous I think it would be okay to use it here: I don't watch
enough TV to be sure.
