OK, Ive done tons of laundry, went to the bank, went to the Indo
American Store and got the stuff to make Upmah and peanut chutney,
went to publix and got some stuff we needed there.
And I still wish I were dead.

I'm so sorry.
Does it help to be busy, or are you past that point?
I hope it lets up for you soonest.

Keep fighting Bobbie....I hope you feel better soon.
I like the suggestion of calling and trying to get your appointment
moved forward. I know my pdoc has emergency appointments which he keeps
free so that he can fit someone in quickly if it's really urgent, so
maybe there's some hope that you can get in earlier.

Busy is good when I've felt suicidal. Distraction is even better,
something that doesn't require a lot of thought....like watching a
movie or tv, playing an online game or just surfing the internet,
sleep, eating (unfortunately), anything I don't have to put too much
thought into. Hang in there Bobbie, remember you will get through
this. You will. And there will be moments of enjoyment once again.
Let me know if you want to be reminded of some of those things ;-)
Like % said, if it gets really bad, maybe time to bump up your
appointment, if you let your doctor know it's urgent, or a call a
crisis line. Again I'm so sorry you're struggling with this. Take
sweet care of yourself....

Being busy can mean pushing your issues further down, when you really
need to uproot them - with the aid of a qualified mental health
professional, in a safe setting.
