Can you help? |
Hi - I'm a health writer looking for a photogenic woman in her mid 20s
to early 40s who has been
diagnosed with either dysthymia (a form of depression) or depression
generally, but on the surface seems to have everything ie the idea
life.
She could have a good career for example, a loving partner, children
and a
gorgeous home, is able to go on holidays a couple of times a year etc,
yet
somehow, for no particular reason, has felt life is pointless, and in
turn,
has slumped into depression.
The interview would be about how the depression manifested, despite
the
fact there was no particular trigger, and how she conquered it. She
would
need to have made attempts at getting better and ideally resolved it.
If
it's not resolved, she should be having some form of
treatment/therapy/self-help.
The piece is to coincide with National Depression Awareness Month, so
would be helping others to find support.

Reading this, and what follows, I can't help wondering if you've already
written your piece and you just need a matching subject?

maybe the author would fudge that part.
reading the OP I was reminded of the photographer who
went hiking, liked one scene and asked "where can I
rent a deer"?
