Cat litter box styles |
1) Martha: very carefully and quietly buries every molecule of waste
2) Taz: scrapes sides of the litter box top for an hour, yet buries
nothing
3) Timmy: scrapes the floor *outside* the box (both in preparation
and in conclusion) with his butt still inside the box, buries nothing.
Who said cats don't have unique personalities?! They don't know cats.

Neil scratches the wall & doesn't bury it. Is it mostly a male cat thing, I
wonder?

I have no idea. But it would make sense.. I guess they wouldn't want
to bury it if it was a territorial thing.

i never see my cats in the litterpans. well, except catzilla who has
to get in there and pee as soon as i put fresh litter in. not
post-scooping, mind you, just when it's brand new litter. i guess it
has to be annointed or something.

Yup.. we have three too.
Delilah plays with the "clumps" for about five minutes before
doing her business, then sometimes buries, sometimes doesn't.
Isabella is very fastidious about burying. She is the "human" cat..
any day now we expect her to start talking.
Emma.. bless her heart.. has such a big butt, being 16 lbs, that
we're lucky if she doesn't have it hanging OUT of the litter box,
with her "gifts" ending up on the floor. Burying is out of the question,
just licking her paws afterward gets her all out of breath.
Cats are crazy.
