(cheap) guns in America |
Just out of curiosity I headed to the local Wal-Mart a couple of weeks
ago. For about $100 you can set yourself up with a .22 rifle and enough
cheap ammo to keep you busy plinking shots off the Chevy in the yard for
a month or two.
It was interesting holding the rifle. All of the other weapons I've
handled have been of the expensive variety and this thing had little
more sophisticated metal work than the use of a hydraulic press.
I couldn't help thinking though that with a time machine I could
probably take that crappy Chinese deuce-deuce and become quite a
terrifying Viking.
Plink, plink. Take that northern Europe!
