Comcast's on the blink again. This time it's not even local. My sister's
internet is going in and out too and she's a ways away. I just spent an
hour with no internet and no TV. How did I survive? I hope they fix it
soon. Oh well, I called Comcast and spoke my mind, but was nice about
it. So nice I got them to give me a day's worth of credit.

Charter has a dispute with the cbs high definition provider who wants
to charge them a fee, they refused so have taken cbs HD off the air. I
don't care about their fucking disputes, I either want a reduction in
the HD monthly fee or I want to switch back to Directv...but I don't
face South.

I don't have a southern view either. When I set up my dish for PPV's I
have to go up two floors and run the cable down and in through the
window. It's a big hassle. When it's moving time I'm definately getting
a southern facing apartment. DirecTV has so much more to offer than
cable, especially with the two new satellites they recently launched,
and I'm not just saying this because I worked for them.

I had it for a couple years in Atlanta. Their customer service blows
away cable companies also. I may see if I can switch apartments
within my complex.

Thank you. When I started there I was Advanced Products Technical Tier
2. I did the phones for a while, but then they wanted to move me off the
phones to a real job with them.

I really liked my DirecTV service, especially after they settled the
little tiff and started carrying local channels. My service only went
out on me once in 12 months.

That's more than you can say for cable, at least here. I've had three
complete outages, and you can't do anything about it with cable. With
DirecTV, it's always your equiptment. There has never been a problem
from DirecTV's side of things.
