Object: considering a stupid thing, actually many
one of which I've mentioned several times, which is moving back to where our
house is up for sale. I hate that town, can't relax in that town and have
tons of bad memories and people who can't stand me due to my supposed
victimizing my ex and my ex step daughter, then victimizing the bitches who
I kicked out of my house for tearing it up, doing at least 2 thousand
dollars worth of damage to my property, furniture and appliances, not to
mention devaluation (is that a word?) to my property if it ever sells and
abusing my dog. I'm not liked in that town and I'm always looking over my
shoulder for my ex to be around, my ex in laws, or my ex step daughter. It
was so nice moving up here and starting a clean slate and not being
surrounded by people from my past that want to remember me as the depressed
ex spouse, ex step mom, of X and Y. No one ever believed me of what went on
in the house because they were such good manipulaters and appeared so nice
and goody 2 shoes on the outside. They were hell on wheels to live with.
Then there were the early years of my life that people don't want to let me
live down the fact that I got pregnant prior to being married, *feigned
shock*, ended up divorced from his dad and then partied quite a bit after my
first divorce. Once a wild person, always a wild person, no one forgets
your past there. No one wants to allow for the fact that you can grow,
change and improve yourself and your life. And for some reason the courts
are ***** backwards always ruling in favor of the men, which is how I ended up
in such a financial pit, between my lying ***** ex husband and the boys
club court system down there, here I am in a financial mess. So considering
all of that I'm completely stupid to think about moving back.
Good things on the list would be I have a home to live in, not much of one,
but it is mine. I have my 1st set of ex inlaws who are incredible people
and I love them dearly, they love my kids and I think myself as well. I
miss them tremendously. My next door neighbors and their kids who played
with my kids. 2 neighbor girls who are good friends to my daughter.
Strange as it sounds, I miss the set up of the town, the streets here are so
screwed up, one street as it progresses will have 4 different names, it's
not set up on a grid and all the streets wind and curve and it's impossible
to find your way around easily. There's usually only one way to a place,
where as in my old town, if the traffic was bad or a wreck, or anything,
there were 10 different routes to each place. The shopping is better, much
better down there. Another extremely trivial thing is the newspaper is
afternoon here, and a crappy one. The one down there is better and is a
morning paper. I want to get up and get my paper in the morning.
Good solid reasons, eh?

Well, I used to be one a few, eh hmmm, years ago.
I used to have so much shame over how I lived. I do have regrets, like the
irresponsibility I had towards my oldest son. OTOH, I wish I wouldn't have
had so many regrets and felt so much shame, it wasn't all bad, it was quite
fun at the time. Just because I wasn't living my parents value system
doesn't make it bad. I'm glad I had a chance to live a little.
So you like wild women? Why don't you come up and see me sometime....wink,
wink....
j/k
Thanks Gravity for making me smile tonight.

yes it is a word!
1 : an official reduction in the exchange value of a currency by a lowering
of its gold equivalency or its value relative to another currency
2 : a lessening especially of status or stature : DECLINE
maybe depreciation would be another possible word. but i think depreciation
is usually normal wear and tear e.g. 20% per year of a car's initial cost.
of course the actual selling price won't be $0 after 5 years, but that's
another thread.

Nashville is kind of like that. the hills add to the complexity of the road
system. but overall, the interstates are easier to use than in Oklahoma
(different sized entrance / exit ramps).
Oklahoma is flat, so the surface streets are generally in a grid-like
pattern. pretty easy to navigate.
i do miss Nashville though.

So are you in Oklahoma? I used to be very close to OK, wasn't that fond of
it, but lived close to there.
