There I am, relaxing in the jacuzzi after exercising. One of the building
older residents - a highly arthritic man who also enjoys the jacuzzi for
obvious reasons - is leaving. A couple minutes later I hear a banging on
the door. I ignore it, because I'm am relaxing after all and if someone
can't think to bring their key well, screw them.
Then it occurred to me. The old guy forget his key and was locked out. So
I grudgingly get out of the jacuzzi, walk over to the table where he left
his keys, and headed for the door. By this time he was banging on the door
quite ferociously and shouting "I left my keys!".
The guy is so arthritic that he always stands hunched over. So he was
hunched over outside the door. So I go to open the door and... WHAM! The
door smacks him in the head.
The poor guy seemed stunned. He was kind of wobbly and for a second I
thought he was going to keel over. But he just said "Thank you! You are a
gentleman and a scholar! I almost never do that." Etc, etc. He was kind
of blathering really.
I felt so bad, but I couldn't have helped it - no window in the door. I
didn't even say "Sorry!" because he was acting like nothing happened.
I'm going to feel responsible if he strokes out any time soon though.
Oh, and I laughed my ***** off too. I couldn't help that either...

You can't get good chinese takeout in China and cuban cigars are rationed
in Cuba. That's all you need to know about communism.
