My doctor just prescribed me Cymbalta today. He was going to prescribe
me Lamactil too, but it conflicts with my depakote.

Hey Slunky, I really hope the new combination works for you.
Thanks for posting this. A low dose of Lamactil was once mentioned as a
possibility for me if my anxiety doesn't settle down, but I take sodium
valproate (which I think is sold as depakote in some places) for my epilepsy
so I guess that rules out that option. I didn't know they interacted.

it's supposed to have a similar action to effexor. it's helping
me somewhat in conjunction with wellbutrin and remeron.

Good. Effexor used to work for me, and I hope Cymbalta helps like when I
first started Effexor.

I never had withdrawl when I stopped taking Effexor. I just stopped at
450mg cold turkey. I guess I was lucky.

very lucky. i stopped from 375 over 10 days and it was a good
thing i was in the hospital, because i could barely function and
felt like hell.
