Yea it is. I even got to catch the baby. I liked the whole process but
snipping the cord. That was messy.

I was the closest one when she pushed her out. The doctor was still
putting on his gloves, and they said that since I already knew how to
deliver a baby from school that I could catch.

They had no problem with me doing it because I brought my EMT license
with me and told them I knew how to deliver a baby. I don't know if they
let other people do that. I'm glad I got to be there. They even had a
chair that folded into a bed so I could sleep in the same room as my
wife. I didn't sleep very well though.
Did I ever tell you how my daughter saved my ***** from going to jail? I
forgot my pills at home, so I was driving on my way home while my wife
was in the hospital, and I got pulled over because my license plate
wasn't lit. (It was night) and some stupid university cop pulled me
over, and they ran my suspended license. So I had one infraction, a
suspended license, and three warrants. They had two other cops come and
they put me in cuffs, and I begged them to call the hospital because my
wife was going to have the baby and I couldn't go to jail or I'd miss
it. So they called and verified that, and then they had a little chat
while I sat in the road handcuffed, and then they uncuffed me and told
me congratulations, and let me go on my way.

I got a ticket last week for expired tags, they expired in December. I
didn't even know. He was a nice officer and I said "you know I'm not
a bad guy, I would certainly pay the registration fee and stick the
nice orange 2008 little sticker in the little sticker square if the
county would just send me the forms or the invoice or whatever the f.
it is they need me to process. I've not heard a single thing. I
think I'll just abandon the car start riding metro.
