One of my favourite things about going to Tillamook in Oregon is that they
have so many of those Holsteins -- thank you; "cheese cows" is really
embarrassing -- everywhere. In the fields, painted on the mailboxes,
everywhere. If you drive around in the afternoon you can usually find a

Crossing event where the farmer is opening the fences across the road and
leading the herd across the road from one field area to the other. It's
very cool! The cows are all over the road, all around your car, there you
are surrounded by wonderful black and white cows! Sometimes the farmer
will
let you get out and pet them as they go by! Also they laugh at you for
getting so excited about petting their cows, but you don't care because
YOU
PET THE COWS!
I was hoping that somehow cows were part of the familia as well, like they
