Oh yeah. :(

or do you ever feel like you are 2 different people? one who is visible on
the outside and another visible only on the inside? for example, when
conversing with people. on the outside i'm saying, "hello, how are
you...i'm fine...blah blah blah." but on the inside i'm saying, "did you
know that i'm in incredible pain? did you know that while talking to you,
i'm fantasizing about carving designs into my forearm with razorblades? did
you know that i appear completely normal and happy on the outside, but on
the inside i'm miserable and full of mindless agony and despair?"
sometimes it's best to say nothing at all...

Oh yeah. You nailed it. The silent scream. I have a slow bleed somewhere
inside. I am bleeding to death right before their eyes and not one of them
can see it. Some days I even muster the courage to tell them I am dying and
not one of them can hear me. Urgency turns to panic. I suspect this is
what it feels like to be buried alive.

These three little words are powerful than the usual three little words. As
bittersweet as shared misery can be -comforted by the fact that someone
understands yet wishing like hell that they didn't - it does make a
difference. Thanks hon. :)

Frequently. Often while reading posts to this newsgroup.
Problem is, I can't help but think that in most cases, I should have
something to say. And it is becoming increasingly difficult to distinguish
those moments from those when I should have nothing to say.

I have periods when I can't say anything. Does that count?

The opinions given above may be mine. They might also

what I said has been bothering me. I meant it to be that I have
nothing anyone wants to hear. I did not intend to put down anyone
else. I hope I haven't offended.
