Do you ever feel really old? |
I swear, some days I feel so old, like I've lived enough of a life to
fill up several people's lifetimes. I don't feel that way all the
time, but I tell ya, some days I just really feel like I've lived a
long life.

Oh hell ya Rose, sometimes I sit and think about what a dysfunctional life
I've had and imagine how can one person go through all I've been through and
be 41. I have to remind myself that I'm only 41 when I'm feeling really
old.

A childhood friend wrote a song about me that contained the line, "an
old man at twenty-two". That was a long, long time ago. I don't believe
the song has survived, but I have.

days I feel soo old, like I've lived so long, and other days I feel

At the school where I graduated we were required to shave, so when
they'd come through every monday to check, I'd walk out of class before
they came. The district said they'd refuse to give a diploma to anyone
with facial hair. I didn't shave anyway, and the principal brought a
razor to graduation knowing that I would come with a goatee. So I broke
down and shaved as much as I was against it. Well, I cut my lip shaving.
So during the entire ceremony, I had a tissue pressed against my upper
lip because I was bleeding.

I agree completly, Reagan at least had a certain charm, which
the current prez definatly does not have. smarm, maybe, but not
charm... If anyone should resign or be impeached it's Bush... at
least
Gonzales is gone, not a minute too soon...

i just heard Mr G B in the radio
he said, more or less, 'it's such a shame in this day and age a man's
name can be dragged through the mud due to politics'.
i saw him saying this on CNN

i'm suspecting big changes in the voting process here in the next 10 -
15 years ,
no one is going to bother anymore for all the difference it makes ,
as it is now turn outs are becoming smaller and smaller , i've never
voted ,
and likely never will unless i run for mayor or councillor or something
.
