Object: Does anyone talk in thier sleep?
I do, when I was a child, it was how my mother found out things, she would
question me when I was asleep and I would tell her things.
I still talk in my sleep, sometimes I even wake myself up with the sound of
my own voice. Sometimes I think I dreamed saying things, until my partner
confirms that was I was having a gab fest while asleep. Does anyone else do
this?

Years ago, my father informed me the next morning that I sat up in bed and
was saying something. so he came over to hear what I was saying and
realized that it was just jibberish and i was really sleeping.
no one has ever told me that I did this again.
when i was in college, i shared a two bedroom suite with a woman who got up
out of her sleep (unbeknownst to me), and wearing only panties, walked to
the end of the bedroom hallway to the living room area and started to speak.
i don't remember if it was jibberish or not but i remember my eyes getting
wide as I was surprised that she came out half naked while I was
entertaining a man. she turned and went back to bed. then next day i told
her about it.

I've seen talk here and there about specific relaxation exercises for
the face and jaw that seem to help with the grinding.
wish I could remember where I saw/heard it.

No, I never did anything about it and it has messed up my teeth a little
bit. I don't know if I could have gotten used to a mouthpiece or not though
but if I had it to do over again I think I would try one.

I used to talk a bit in my sleep. What I do more is move. I punch
things or move my feet if in my dream I'm running. I act out my
dreams. I'll scoop up sand in my dream and my bed partner will tell me
that i'm doing the same action live.

People who move in their sleep and act out their dreams have a part of their
brain that does not work correctly. This part (I can't recall it at the
moment) is suppsed to paralyze your muscles during the most active dreaming
time so your body doesn't act out your dreams. This has happened to me from
time to time, I've awakend myself by diving into the pillow (dreaming I was
swimming, heh) or fighting off an attacker. I also talk, yell and cry in my
sleep. This must be genetic, as all of my brothers do it as well. Hubby has
said he's had perfectly rational conversations with me while I was sound
asleep, and I don't remember a bit of it. :-)

Thor talks in his sleep, but I think he must be speaking in tongues,
cuz it never makes any sense--even though it sounds like it *should*
be making sense.
If I ask him to repeat himself, he'll do it 2-3 times and then start
saying, "never mind never mind" as though he's either embarrassed or
impatient (I can't tell which).

LOL, my partner does that to me, asks me to repeat something I have said
that doesnt make sense, she says I usually tell her, "dont ask me I am
asleep!"
