I miss the long Florida summers. (Out here, summer is June-August.)
Speaking of hot and humid... you know it's bad when you see a cat panting like
a dog.

how about birds... today i watched a goose panting... plus my daughters rabbit
does it from time to time... had to find him a better shaded home.

I always feel bad for the dogs i see around here, souther nv, big black rots,
giant st bernards and newfoundlands, great danes, black labs, blue heelers...
these poor dogs in 100+ heat riding around in vehicles and the back of trucks.
even worse a lot of people around here don't put up shelters for their horses.
at least the dogs are given shelter trees and buildings.
