Object: Elderly man runs rings around me.
My neighbor and I were cutting wood. The guy has to be over 80. He
just keeps on going and going...and my back was killing me. I want to
bring him in and have him meet Bob. Just so Bob can see the contrast
(and maybe have someone new to talk to). Maybe Bob will start doing
his PT therapy more.
The whole thing is this: I can never give up, never take a day and
say, "work is too hard." I just gotta keep going, let my feet take me
until my mind catches up.
Got some great wood, Red Oak, for next year.

Amazing how some older people are. Must have been blessed with a
strong body. I have a client who is 80, still very active, been
active all his life cause he likes to be. Puts me to shame. In the
care home I used to work in the healthiest resident was 100 years old
- nothing wrong with her, no meds - she was very active too, in fact,
more active than the ones in their 70's and 80's. Just the way some
people are I guess.
