I hope you and the dogs are doing ok. I cannot imagine how traumatic
that must have been.
Wanted to reccommend getting some "Halt!" spray, and always taking it
along when you walk the dogs. I really works well, even on the meanest
of nasties.
Also, If the owner of the other dog pays your vet bills, that
constitutes a legal admission of guilt. This would mean a record of the
fact that Luce and Mushroom were NOT at fault.

i really need to get some of that. i think they have it at petsmart.
i'm not sure if the local petshop has it or not. i should call and
ask.

hmm. in that case, maybe i ought to get them to pay it. i wasn't going
to bother because with my discount it came to $7.15, but if paying it
would be an admission of guilt, i probably ought to hit them up for
the $7.15.

Man oh man, they are going to think they've got horseshoes up their butts. You
don't press charges and you want them to pay a piddly $7.15 for the vet bill.
But there is now a police report on the incident, and if they pay the bill, they
make a de facto admission of their responsibility for it happening.
You go girl!

How's about maybe throwing in the cost
of a massage for you, too? You saved
their dog and it took a lotta muscle
power. I'm kinda kiddin' -- but I do
think it's a legitimate cost.
