Everyone would be better off without me |
Don't you just hate it when you think like that? It just arrived last
night, but a poor night's sleep seems to have done the trick, not that
it isn't true.

You don't want it in your head, but there it is, shoved in there like a CD
in a drive. FWIW I wouldn't be better off without you. I would miss you

Am sorry you had a rough night last night, I slept ok, but had a bad dream.
This is common with the medication I am taking. It wouldn't be a bad idea to
mention on your next dr's visit.

Hi Alan.
hey I know where you're coming from, in my own way. I have thoughts
like that from time to time. of course, it isnt true. everyone would
be worse off without you. even me!
Yes, I hate that feeling. I freaking hate it. when I'm short on
sleep, it greatly increases my chances for a depressive crash, and
feelings like that. have some good sleep man, and know, that you're
important, even if you don't think so. please feel better.

Away from the computer, at least, no one would be better off without
me. Guess it's why I've become so self-centered. I try to find what
solitary fulfillment I can. This is impossible when I'm badly
depressed. Fortunately, I'm in the middle right now.

Go for it. I'm sitting here playing a simple one that I've liked for
over ten years. Resting after spending the afternoon scraping paint,
ick. I'm in a rare period of being able to concentrate and finish
books. Going to read one later.

I've been trying to set up 'Baldur's Gate' (I've always liked the
Dungeons and Dragons type of game). I can't get it the way I liked. I've
not played it for three or four years, and it's only when I come to
something I remember in the settings that I realise there is a 'better'
way of doing things.
Right now I'm beating my head against to keyboard to find a way of
matching the portraits of saved characters to the characters I've saved.
I saved a human female, which is what the loaded character says, but
it's lost the custom portrait and given me a dwarf instead. Not that I
have something against dwarves (in case he sees one with a battle-axe).
Frustration's better than cogitation.

it isn't true.
I hate feeling like that sometimes Alan.
