How many people actually exercise, as a routine?
I used to walk everyday about 6 miles. Daylight savings time it's too
dangerous to walk at night alone, sooooo, I do it on the weekends now. I
also do sit ups, crunches, butt crunches, arm curls and push ups everyday.
Just wondering...

I walk a mile a day, six days a week. Use to do more but not for a while
now. I'd like to go back to swimming every other day. I don't need it for
weight but I do need it for tone and cardio.

I go through phases but mostly not.

For a couple of years I used to love to go walking at 4 am. I loved it
because it's the only time of the day when the city is quiet. I felt like I
owned the town and I could cross streets without looking both ways. At that
hour it was just me and an occassional cop car.
But I'm not very hardy so I only did that during the summer months. I'm not
a winter person.

That would be ideal, but I leave for work around 6am, takes me about an hour
to get there. It's only 15 miles! I get home after dark too. I did do the
walk in the early mornings when I was on vacation, it was a peaceful time.

But I'm not very hardy so I only did that during the summer months. I'm
not a winter person.

I don't do cold, can't do cold anymore anyway. I don't know how I did it
all those years.

Just wondering...

I do a five minute walk to the paper-shop six times a week. And most
days I walk back, too.

What do you think about gym's? I've always been uncomfortable in them.
Maybe times have changed, but when I went many many many years ago, it felt
more like a rich person's meat market and it was such a joke to see women
all in work out clothes wearing fur coats and large diamonds on their
fingers getting a juice from the juice and veggie bar.... It was such a
joke. That was probably 20 years ago and in Minnesota.

8 months of the year, I walk about 6
miles every other day. Not as fast as I
used to, though. I use those stretchy
tube thingies about every other day. And
yoga. Maybe you could find a walking
buddy in the evening?

I should. I've been living here a year now, you'd think I'd know someone,
