exhausted |
I'm exhausted as usual this weekday night. It's the stress that makes me so
tired. Having a high anxiety level all the time isn't good for my health.
I should adopt little Hammie the hamster. Watching him play and run in his
exercise wheel would probably calm me down. Millipedes are nice, but they
aren't social at all. Hamsters are a bit more interactive, even though the
only interaction may be that they bite your finger when you try to feed
them. :)

Hamsters usually don't bite unless threatened, despite their reputation.

Hamsters are not allowed here in Oz, so I wouldn't really know, I think our
equivalent is a guinea pig?

I don't know if you can call them "equivalent", but both hamsters and
guinea pigs are rodents (as are mice, rats, rabbits, beavers, squirrels,
porcupines, etc.).

Actually, although guinea pigs are currently classified in the rodent
family, scientists who already know that proteins in guinea pig blood are
not like other rodents', are pushing to have their classification changed.
Rabbits OTOH are known not to be rodents, but classified as Langomorphs,
which differ from rodents in having an extra pair of incisors and in other
skeletal features.

I'm a dawg. They are easy to understand, or at least I

He is my friend's dawg - rescued from the pound a day or two
before the extermination date.
Settling down, however not where you would want kids about.
No, I got to eat me pizza. He got only a bit of it :-)
The vision problems mean you don't sneak up or surprise
him though, other than that he's OK and very friendly.
