Object: exploration into the "know yourself"
"When the activities of the self are explored and understood,
then there is imperishable ecstasy".
- J. Krishnamurti
For a possibility of joint inquiry into his teaching, you might want to see:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/J-Krishnamurti_andLife/
The intent of this group, is for serious enquirers who would rather
probe first-hand into this particular teaching _in itself_, and not
pursue a comparative intellectual/philosophical/religious study.

I've learned a lot about myself over the last few years. I felt better
when I knew nothing.

The opinions given above may be mine. They might also
just be what I feel like saying right now, okay?

Laugh! Oh Alan...sometimes you are sooooo funny! Especially, when I'm not
sure you mean to be.

me too, sometimes. it's especially hard when the insights come
in cascades. one core truth: isolation is really, really bad.
so... here I am in a.s.d., and I value your presence here too.

Howdy, Master. I read the post and thought, "Where's Bev's reply?"
// Also, I noticed this part of the original poster's post:
"The intent of this group, is for serious enquirers who would rather

probe first-hand into this particular teaching _in itself_, and not

It would seem to me that a serious enquirer would want to compare the
teaching to another, to determine it's value. But that would be using
one's brain and spiritual acumen, a no-no for potential joiners. Ah,
the freedom to not think is seductive I think.

To not even read Krishnamurti in that case. The very same thing happens
in Buddhist circles. Maybe in all religions. I wonder.

Those who imagine truth in untruth and see untruth in truth
never arrive at truth but follow vain desires.

Avoiding the Krishnamurti culties as Krishnamurti himself recommended.
