at dan's school. we're supposed to leave soon to help out. i

it was a lot of work, but there wasn't much i could do one-
armed. i wish more people had shown up, but, especially with
free popcorn and lemonade, the kids had a lot of fun. it was a
good thing that subtitles were inadvertantly turned on, since
there was a bit of noise amongst kids ages 3-12.
i'm glad i'm home.

You commit yourself to a lot, don't you? Is that a good thing, or a bad
one? Presumably it keeps you going, while it feels lousy.

i decided to do all this whie i was feeling better. making the
most of feeling good. now they sent out a group email, wanting
me to be coordinator for another project. i'm just trying to
stay out of the hospital. i'm waiting until tomorrow to answer
that email.
