Gotta love this one, especially with the switch to one year warranties
on consumer drives. Maxtor even has external drives with only a 90 day
warranty.
Go prosumer, and make sure your drives have a 3 year or better warranty.
You'll pay a little more but you will generally get increased
performance and a better MTBF. Of course drive failure is a bell curve.
SCSI rocks, 5 year warranty! Of course you pay for it, like anything else.
