UT2K4 is better.
But then I prefer sci-fi settings.
I just got UT2004 this weekend. It's a different kind
of game, designed for on-line play as opposed to single
player. But if you compare the graphics Far Cry is much more
advanced. The detail in Far Cry is stunning. UT2004's
detail/effects don't seem that much better than earlier
versions of UT. UT2004 doesn't seem to have room for
improvement when next generation video cards come out,
I got all the settings turned up to 'highest' with my
FX5800 at 1280x768 and there's no way I can do that
with Far Cry. The AI for Far Cry's bots is much better
also.
