fatigue |
I wish I had more energy. I'm alert and well during the day, but in the
evening, I'm always so sleepy I can't stay awake.

Have you had an endocrine checkup? You might have hypothyroidism.

I've been checked for that. Negative. Thanks for the suggestion.

That sounds "normal". Certainly more 'in sync' with the normies than my
night-owl tendencies.

Sometimes meds can do this, I would mention it to your doctor.

Yes, I wouldn't be surprised if it is caused by the meds.

Well, hmmm. I could discuss fatigue and sleepiness for a long
while but I'm too sleepy right now. (Atypically I was up by
umm 8 or 9 this a.m.)
How early do you become sleepy?
If I don't exercise moderately (2 3/4 mile walks per day) I
get more blogy and listless fairly soon. I'm sure I'd feel
more alert if I got some more "real" exercise 2 to 4 times
a week but between finances and slowed reactions I'm not
sure how to do it.
After 1 day of just lying down on the couch it takes 2 to
recover, and longer than that for 2 days.
I remember a few stretches from a yoga-for-exercise-not-enlightenment
class I took years ago. I think there's a book about this,
the Stretch book or something.
Doing one or two of those helps for some kinds of tiredness
and also some kinds of anxiety/irritation (the kind that
doesn't need any Rx)

What I hate the most is being really sleepy at night time but not able
to sleep.
