A Christmas Story. The best in my opinon. Have to watch it every year.
Plus TNT does a 24 hour marathon of it on Christmas Eve.

The Bumpus hounds.

That part of the movie was pulled from a story entitled "The Grandstand
Passion Play of Delbert and the Bumpus Hounds". Only many years after I
read it did I hear of the annual production in a town in Germany called
"The Grand Passion Play of Oberamergau". When I think of the literary
allusions that an educated person would get that I miss because of my
ignorance... it still doesn't bother me much. Just some.

Prancer is great. Everyone will gag, but "Its a Wonderful Life" is still high
on my list! I cry everytime.
There is a great one about nine years ago about a Santa Angel changing events
too but it is in modern times, and involves a woman who has lost the Christmas
spirit and her husband and children. Can't recall title, but it is great too.
As sad as I get at Christmas, I still love it.
Best to you Jill!
